The formula for circumference is 2**r. so plug in the radius and it will be 2**3. that equals 6. I am not sure whether for your problem you’re supposed to multiply it by rounded pi, so the following answer is what you would get if you multiplied by pi, rounded. Now is infinite so we round it to 3.14. then multiply 6 by 3.14 and get 18.84 cm.

-2x + 3x - 5 = 6 - 21

FIND x
trasher [3.6K]

Before we do any solving, we need to simplify both sides.

On the left, we can simplify -2x + 3x - 5 to x - 5.

On the right, we can simplify 6 - 21 to -16.

So we have x - 5 = -16.

Solving from here, we add 5 to both sides to get x = -11.

Identify the area of a regular decagon with side length 2 m rounded to the nearest tenth
Zina [86]

Answer:

Area = 14.8

Step-by-step explanation:

Area = 5/2 + a^2*sqrt(5 + 2 sqrt(5) )

This formula given the side length, calculates the area.

a = 2

Area = 2.5 + 2^2 * sqrt(5 + 2*sqrt(5) )

Area = 2.5 + 4 * sqrt(5 + 2*2.236)

Area = 2.5 + 4* sqrt(5+ 4.4721)

Area = 2.5 + 4*sqrt(9.4721)

Area = 2.5 + 4*3.0776

Area = 2.5 + 12.3107

Area = 14.8107

Find the equation of the line through point (3,−3) and parallel to y=3x−4. Use a forward slash (i.e. "/") for fractions (e.g. 1/
exis [7]

Answer:

y =3x - 12

Step-by-step explanation:

I'm fairly certain this is the answer.

Consider the point (3,-3). In terms of variables this is written (x,y).

Remember that the equation for slope is y = mx + b.

In that equation, "b" is your y-intercept, and "m" is your slope.

If 2 lines are parallel, they have the same slope but different y-intercepts. So you can use the slope from the equation y=3x-4 to find the parallel line. You can also plug in the values 3 and -3 to solve for b, our y-intercept.

If we set up the equation, we have -3 = 3(3) + b.

Now solve for b.

-3 = 9 + b

Combine like terms, so that -12 = b, and you have your y-intercept.

To create the equation, take out the coordinate pair that the line passes through, and only have the SLOPE and the Y-INTERCEPT showing in the equation.

Therefore, y = 3x - 12

A city block is a square with each side measuring 98 yards. Find the length of the diagonal of the city block.
vlabodo [156]

To find the answer to this, we can use the formula for the diagonal of a square,

a\sqrt{2}, with a being the length of the side. That meaans that the length of the diagonal is 98\sqrt{2}, which is approximately equal to 138.59.
