it would be 2(2^5), which is two times two to the fifth power. you take the original size and double it for every minute, which is like squaring it, but to the power of five, because it doubles once every minute for five minutes. i hope this makes sense!:)

valkas [14]

Complete the chart by marking each of the expenses in the correct cell depending on whether the expense occurs montlhy, quarterly, annually, etc. as shown in the chart.

What is a check-off matrix?

This is a type of chart that is completed by adding X to the cells. In the case of expenses, check-off matrixes help you to visualize how often every expense occurs, and therefore it can be useful to control or monitor expenses.

This type of matrix often includes:

-Columns with the months of the year or the initals of these. June = J.

-Rows that show the expenses a person has.

How to do a check-off matrix?

 1. List the expenses
 2. Make an X in each of the cells that the each expense should occur.
 3. Verify the information once the chart is finished.

In a week, 16 hens laid 64 eggs. what is the unit rate for eggs per hen?
Sveta_85 [38]

Answer:

4 eggs per hen

Step-by-step explanation:

You would need to divide the total number of eggs by the number of hens to see how many each one would produce:

Thus, 64/16 = 4

That gets you 4 eggs per hen!

Solve the system of equations below by graphing them with a pencil and paper. Enter your answer as an ordered pair.
sergejj [24]
Y = 2x - 3 . . . (1)
y = -2x + 5 . . . (2)
Equating (1) and (2),
2x - 3 = -2x + 5
2x + 2x = 5 + 3
4x = 8
x = 8/4 = 2
x = 2
y = 2(2) - 3 = 4 - 3 = 1
y = 1

Solution = (2, 1)

You can just 1) multiply the binomial by itself, or you can use 2) the square of a binomial pattern. I'll show it to you both ways.

1) Multiply the binomial by itself.

(3x - 2)^2 = (3x - 2)(3x - 2) =

Multiply every term of the first binomial by every term of the second binomial, then collect like terms. (This is often called using FOIL.)

= 9x^2 - 6x - 6x + 4

= 9x^2 - 12x + 4

2) Use the square of a binomial pattern

The square of a binomial is

(a - b)^2 = a^2 - 2ab - b^2

a^2 is the square of the first term.
b^2 is the square of the second term.
-2ab is the product of the two terms and 2.

You have

(3x - 2)^2,
where the first term is 3x, and the second term is -2

square the first term: 9x^2
square the last term: 4
the product of the terms and 2 is: -12x

Put it all together, and you get

9x^2 - 12x + 4

just like we got above with the other method.

A rectangular prism with a volume of 222 cubic units is filled with cubes with side lengths of \dfrac14 4 1 start fraction, 1,
skad [1K]
The correct question is
A rectangular prism with a volume of 2 cubic units is filled with cubes with side lengths of 1/4 unit. How many cubes does it take to fill the prism?

we know that
[volume of the cube]=b³
b=1/4 unit
[volume of the cube]=(1/4)³------> 1/64 unit³

if 1 cube has a volume of ----------------> (1/64) unit³
x cubes--------------------------------> 2 unit³
x=2/(1/64)-----> x=2*64----> x=128 cubes

the answer is
128 cubes
