The Council assisted and advised the colonial governor.

<u>Explanation:</u>

The British monarch appointed governors and then colonial governors appointed the council as advisers who helped him in the administer the colony. The purpose of council was to look after the policies carried out in the colony and the council grew as the colonies grew prosperously.

The House of Burgesses organised in 1619 in VIRGINIA is believed to be the first Governor's council. Until 1712, council served Upper house of legislature and an adviser to colonial governor the other work council done is sat as the highest court of appeals.

He also felt no one should feel as though they are an outsider when the live in the US, communities should be welcoming to all people. In order to achieve this, they would need to support each other and join up like a big family. I think this is a great concept because unity would make the country stronger and bring everyone together. America's purpose is to give people home for a great life, and we should be aiding each other in achieving that.</span>
