A nonnative species may not have any natural predators when being introduced subsequently it won’t have any competition with the other organisms living in the same ecosystem. This will make the other organisms struggle for food and other resources and could potentially make them go extinct. They can also have drastic effects to the local biodiversity (for the previous reason). Also, due to the competition or newly introduced predator (assuming they’re a predator) the preexisting organisms of the ecosystem may start to relocate and start a new ecosystem or if there are neighbouring towns/cities may have to forage for food there - which would obviously be dangerous for both them and us. Hope these few examples help.

Yuliya22 [10]

Answer:

The parents must be Tt, Tt

Explanation:

Based on these results, we can conclude that each of the parents will have one dominant (T) and one recessive allele (t). We can prove this by drawing the Punnett square:

     T t

T TT Tt

t Tt tt

We can see that the offspring will have the Tt genotype in two cases, the TT genotype in one case, and the tt genotype in one case, as well. Now we need to do some basic math. Two out of four is 50% (Tt - 50%), and one out of four is 25% (TT - 25%, tt - 25%).

This means that the parents must be Tt, Tt.

how do scientists use fossil comparative anatomy and branching diagrams to explain the evolution of organism
Mnenie [13.5K]

Hi there!

In order to do fossil comparative anatomy and branching diagrams to explain the evolution of organism, scientists use radiocarbonation method.

Explanation:

Carbon-14 can combine with oxygen in the atmosphere to create carbon dioxide, which is then absorbed by plants and makes its way through the food chain. The amount of carbon-14 in living plants and animals matches the amount in the atmosphere, but when plants and animals die, they no longer absorb carbon-14.

Because radiocarbon has a known rate of decay, the scientists can now determine about how long it has been since the plant or animal was alive. The lower the amount of radiocarbon, the older the object.

(Sometimes, C-12 is also used)
