Answer: I don’t know how to solve the area of these shapes. But I know how to find the peeimeter Of this shape.

perimeter=P

finding the P of any shape is like finding the P of a square or rectangle. Is to add up all the sides up like for the 8th one it would be 10+20+20+10 or (10x2)+(20x2)

hope this helps!

which equation in point-slope form contains the point (-3, 5) and has slope -1 ANSWERS y + 3 = -1(x-5) y-3= -1(x+5) y+5=-1(-3) y
castortr0y [4]

Answer:

<h2>y - 5 = -1(x + 3)</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

The point-slope form of an equation of a line:

y-y_1=m(x-x_1)

m - slope

We have m = -1 and the point (-3, 5). Substitute:

y-5=-1(x-(-3))\\\\y-5=-(x+3)

Can someone help me? Brainliest + Points!
iris [78.8K]

Answer:

D. \frac{2}{5}

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we know that the odds of an events can be found by dividing the probability that an event will occur by the probability that the event will not occur.

\text{Odds of an event}=\frac{\text{Probability that event will occur}}{\text{Probability that event will not occur}}

Probability of an event not occurring can be found by subtracting probability of the event occurring from 1.

\text{Odds of an event}=\frac{\text{Probability that event will occur}}{1-\text{Probability that event will occur} }

We have been given that probability of an event is 2/7.

Upon substituting our given values in above formula we will get,

\text{Odds of the given event}=\frac{\frac{2}{7}}{1-\frac{2}{7}} }

\text{Odds of the given event}=\frac{\frac{2}{7}}{\frac{7-2}{7}} }

\text{Odds of the given event}=\frac{\frac{2}{7}}{\frac{5}{7}} }

\text{Odds of the given event}=\frac{2}{7}\times \frac{7}{5}

\text{Odds of the given event}=\frac{2}{5}

Therefore, the odds of the same event are \frac{2}{5} and option D is the correct choice.

Two locomotives approach each other on parallel tracks. Each has a speed of 87 km/hr with respect to the ground. If they are ini
sergiy2304 [10]

Answer:

9.3

Step-by-step explanation:

if both travel at same speed they will take equal distance and time to reach the middle and collide.

hence, 27/2 =13.5km

speed=distance/time

time = distance/speed

time= 13.5/87 = 0.15517mm hr

0.15517×60 = 9.31minutes
