Changes in a food chain can have a chain reaction on other species within the foodchain. For example, if less plants grew one year, less wildebeest will have what to feed themselves so wildebeest population will decrease and the buffalo who eats the wildebeest won’t have enough to eat etc

Which statement best describes the relationship between an allele's frequency and its dominance? A) Frequency and dominance are
marshall27 [118]

Answer:

D) Frequency results from environmental stresses, not dominance.

Explanation:

The allele frequency refers to the amount of frequency of a particular allele in a small population whereas the dominance and recessive are the measure of the effects of the allele on the population which decides the trait of an organism.

The frequency and dominance cannot be correlated with each other as the frequency of the allele in a population is the result of the environmental stress which are random and by chances, whereas the effect of dominance is not random but is the result of the favoured trait for survival.

Thus, Option-D is correct.

Contact with infected cats and their feces is the only mode of transmission of Toxoplasma to humans. Contact with infected cats
Mkey [24]

Answer:

False

Explanation:

Toxoplasma is a congenital disease that is characterized by mild muscle aches, tender lymph nodes, etc. and in some immuno-compromised individuals, seizures and coordination loss may occur. I

The disease is caused by a protozoan known as Toxoplasma gondii and its infection is usually by eating foods (usually meats) that contain the cyst of the organism or making contact with cats that are infected in addition to infected mother-baby transmission, especially during pregnancy.

Hence, humans can contract the organism not just by exposure to an infected cat but also by eating meats that contain the cysts of the organism.
