Answer:

On land, volcanoes form when one tectonic plate moves under another. Usually a thin, heavy oceanic plate subducts, or moves under, a thicker continental plate. When this happens, the ocean plate sinks into the mantle. Water trapped in the rocks in this plate gets squeezed out.

Patient has been sick for 9 days with the flu, which immune response is
VladimirAG [237]
Answer: humoral immune response

The main antibody isotypes in the influenza-specific humoral immune response are IgA, IgM and IgG. Mucosal or secretory IgA antibodies are produced locally and transported along the mucus of the respiratory tract by transepithelial transport and can afford local protection from infection of airway epithelial cells.

Irina18 [472]

Answer:

1) bay - 0%

  cream - 0%

  buckskin - 100%

2) cream - 25%

    bay - 25%

   buckskin - 50%

3) co-dominance

Explanation:

Ok so a run down on Punnett Squares,  all you have to do is put the parent's genes on the top and right hand side and combine those two genes in the middle as I did in the picture.  Now, co-dominance, this basically means that there is no dominant allele.  For example, imagine a white flower (W) and a red flower (R).  If these two plants were to breed, you would get a pink flower (WR).  This means the red allele and the white allele are both co-dominant.  It is basically a combination of both genes that result in a mixed phenotype of the two genes, aka red and white makes pink.  This is also how you get an AB blood type.

I hope this helps!

1. In what layer was the first rock formed?
Anni [7]

Answer: Bottom layer of rock

Explanation:

The bottom layer is the layer of the deposition of the sediments in which sedimentation and cementation occurs to form the rocks. These rocks are formed at the lowest horizon of the soil profile. These rocks are also called bedrocks. The layer present above the rock are younger and the layer at the top is the youngest layer. The older layer at the bottom and the younger layer at the top. This phenomena is called law of superimposition.
