If Employee A logged 120 hours of travel in four years and Employee B logged hours of travel at a 20% higher rate, how many more
DochEvi [55]
Employee A in 4 years logged travel hours of = 120
Percentage more of travel hours logged by Employee B in 4 years = 20%
Then
Amount of travel hours logged by employee b in 4 years = (120/100) * 120
                                                                                           = 12 * 12
                                                                                           = 144 hours
Then amount of travel hours logged by Employee B after 1.5 years = (144/4) * 1.5
                                                                                                             = 216/4
                                                                                                             = 54 hours
Amount of travel hours logged by Employee A after 1.5 years = (120/4) * 1.5
                                                                                                  = 180/4
                                                                                                 = 45 hours.
Number of hours that Employee B had
than Employee A after 1.5 years = (54 - 45) hours
                                                     = 9 hours
So emplyee B had logged 9 hours more than Employee A after 1.5 years.

I need the Assessment Question answers to Commonlit ( An incredible job: being America's President) ASAP
elixir [45]

Answer:

The President of the United States is the most important political figure in the nation, being the leader of the executive branch of the federal government and, therefore, the head of state and government of the United States of America. The main tasks of the President are the exercise of the executive function of the federal government, that is, to administer the country and to supervise the correct fulfillment of the laws.

The position of President is designated by means of elections, in which the Electoral College designates which candidate will be the one to carry out said function during the 4 years following the election. The President can be reelected for another 4 years, but only once, after which he will not be able to access that position again.

Today, the President is Donald Trump, although Joe Biden was elected to fill that position from 2021 to 2024.

Whats an example of a fragment and a run on sentence.
Zepler [3.9K]

A sentence fragment is an incomplete sentence that cannot stand by itself because there is a subject and/or a main verb missing. Unless they are used to convey a certain style, sentence fragments should be avoided because they are gramatically incorrect. <u>Examples of sentence fragments are "swam by the river" or "Throughout the novel, the author"</u>. On the other hand, a run-on sentence is a sentence that contains two or more independent clauses that have been connected in an improper way.<u> Examples of run-on sentences are "My sister is sick we are not going to the beach" "I studied for the test I arrived late"</u>.
