Some forms of cardiovascular disease involve the buildup of plaque on the inside walls of blood vessels. The buildup can put add

ed stress on the heart and vessels, reducing or preventing blood flow to vital organs of the body.
Imagine that the diagram is a circular cross section of a blood vessel. What is the area of the inside of the blood vessel (i.e., the pink part) in square units? Round your answer to the nearest tenth. The equation for the area of a circle is A = πr2, where A is area, π ≈ 3.14, and r is the radius. Recall that the radius is half of the diameter.

We can use the formula for the area of circle which is A = πr².

Find the diameter by dividing 7 and 2 which you get 3.5.

Substitute with the given values; A = (3.14)(3.5)².

Solve for the exponent; A = (3.14)(12.25).

Multiply; A = 38.465.

AleksAgata [21]

Answer: 1,540 kilo calories

Explanation:

The energy that is supplied by the carbohydrates is 4 calories in one gram of carbohydrates.

The energy that is obtained by the protein is 4 calories per gram of protein. The fat provides 9 calories per gram of fat.

Alcohol provides 7 calories per gram of alcohol.

Hence, 250* 4= 1000 calories by carbohydrates, 50*4= 200 calories by protein and 30* 9= 270 calories by fat.

Alcohol = 10* 7= 70 calories by alcohol.

Total calories is 1540 kilo calories which is consumed by Carol for dinner.
