it's very simple maybe it's in ur book?
Answer:
I think its D .
Step-by-step explanation:
hope this helps you
Hey there! I'm happy to help!
The additive inverse is when you switch the sign. The additive inverse of 4x is -4x. A number added to its additive inverse is equal to 0.
The multiplicative inverse is also known as the reciprocal, and it is where you flip the numerator and denominator. If you multiply a number by its reciprocal, it equals 1. The multiplicative inverse 4x would be 1/4x.
The additive inverse is -4x.
The multiplicative inverse is 1/4x.
Have a wonderful day! :D
As far as can see there are 2 correct methods shown, although there are other more efficient ways to solve this.
The 2 correct methods shown are:

and

The reason for this is because if we want to solve for "x", we must first isolate it. Normally we would isolate the "y variable", but because there is none in this equation we have to automatically assume that the "y" value has been given to us.
If you would like to see the math behind these 2 solutions I'll be more than happy to add it, if I can still edit my answer at that point in time. Also if you find out that this answer is wrong please tell me in the comments below, and I promise that I will come back and rework my math. Thanks!
It would be 0.6 because dividing it would be 3/5 = 0.6
Answer is D
