A person’s vestibular sense helps control balance. In most mammals, the vestibular system is the sensory system that has the leading contribution to the sense of balance and spatial orientation for the purpose of coordinating movement with balance. The vestibular sense reacts to a change in the positioning of the head or when the feet are lifted of the ground. This can also help in regulating a child to keep him/her focused and attentive. Examples of activities that need vestibular input are: somersaults, swinging, hanging upside down form a monkey bar.

A sphere of radius R has charge Q.The electric field strength at distance r > R is E intial. What is the ratio E of the final
Elis [28]

Answer:

Efinal / Einitial = 1

Explanation:

Applying Gauss´s Law to a closed spherical surface encircling the sphere of radius R, it can be showed that the electric field, at a distance r> R, behaves like all the charge of the sphere (which is distributed over the surface) were concentrated in the center, so the sphere produces the same electric field as the one created by a point charge located at that point.

The expression for the field E initial is as follows:

E initial = \frac{K*Q}{r^{2}}

So, at a distance r> R, as the center of the sphere is located at the same point, the electric field will be the same as before.

The expression for E final is as follows:

E final = \frac{K*Q}{r^{2}}

So the ratio \frac{Ef}{Ei} is equal to one.

Si un movil parte del reposo logrando una aceleracion de 5 metros por segundo al cuadrado durante 8 segundos calcular la velocid
Komok [63]

Answer:

Velocidad final, V = 40 m/s

Explanation:

Dados los siguientes datos;

Aceleración = 5 m/s²

Velocidad inicial = 0 m/s (ya que comienza desde el reposo)

Tiempo = 8 segundos

Para encontrar la velocidad final, usaríamos la primera ecuación de movimiento;

V = U + at

Dónde;

 • V es la velocidad final.
 • U es la velocidad inicial.
 • a es la aceleración.
 • t es el tiempo medido en segundos.

Sustituyendo en la fórmula, tenemos;

V = 0 + 5*8

V = 0 + 40

V = 40

Velocidad final, V = 40 m/s

Problem 10.64 the maximum energy a bone can absorb without breaking is surprisingly small. for a healthy human of mass 67 kg , e
kvasek [131]

Answer: h = 0.30 m

Explanation:

A person jumping from height h would possess potential energy = m g h

which will convert completely into kinetic energy as person hits the ground. Now, the maximum energy absorbed by the person can be = 200 J

m = 67 kg

g = 9.8 m/s²

⇒ m g h = 200 J

⇒ h = 200 J / (67 kg × 9.8 m/s²) = 0.30 m

Hence, a person can land safely on both legs without breaking them from a height of 0.30 m only.
