The match making one is Radiation is i think B and Convection i think is C and Conduction i think is A.  I think 1 is radiation. Because radiation is transferred between objects or an empty space. Number 2 i think is conduction Because conduction is the transfer of thermal energy between to objects touching. Number 3 i also i think is radiation because radiation transfers between objects. Number 4 i also think is conduction because the spoon was touching a hot pot that was on the stove so then the thermal energy was transferred between the two objects touching. number 5 I think is convection because convection is the transfer of energy by the movement of a fluid, such as air or water. Number 6 i think is radiation because the snake is not touching the lamp and radiation goes all across spaces. Number 7 i think is convection because convection is the movement of a fluid, such as air or water. Hope this helps sorry its so long :)

What is the angular speed of (a) the second hand, (b) the minute hand, and (c) the hour hand of a smoothly running analog watch?
Agata [3.3K]
A)We know the formula of the angular speed is                 ω = 2π / TWhere T is the time period. When second hand completes one revolution then the time taken is 60s.So T = 60sThen the angular speed of the second hand is          ω= 2π / (60s)             = 0.1047 rad/sb)When the minute hand completes one revolution the time taken is             T = 1 hr                = 3600sThen the angular speed of the minute hand is         ω =(2π) / (3600s) = 0.001745 rad/sc)When the hour hand completes one revolution then the timeperiod is          T = 12hrs             = (12)(3600)sThen the angular speed of the hour hand is         ω =(2π) / [(12)(3600)s] = 1.45444 x 10^-4 rad/s

12) A neutral atom has two, eight, eight electrons in its first, second, and third energy levels. This information ________.
pentagon [3]

Answer:

C.

Explanation:

Option C

The information given in the question tells us about the number of electrons in an atom and also the number of shells in the atom. So, we will come to know about the atomic number, size and chemical properties of the atom. But we cannot determine atomic mass. Atomic mass is a function of number of neutrons and protons.
