posledela

The name of the sets of the numbers to which each of the given number belongs is:

 1. 7 = Natural number. Integer. Rational number.
 2. √23 = Irrational number.
 3. л = Irrational number.
 4. O = Rational number. Integer.
 5. -0.5 = Rational number.
 6. -2.5 = Rational number.
 7. √0.09 = Rational number.
 8. -√0.9 = Irrational number.

What are sets of numbers?

These are the various types of number groups that exist for categorizing numbers.

Natural numbers are all positive numbers from 1 to infinity while integers are positive and negative whole numbers. A decimal cannot be an integer as a result.

Rational numbers are discrete which means that they are terminating and eventually stop going while irrational numbers will keep going to infinity and are therefore non-terminating.

A 10 meter long wire is attached to the top of a flagpole 5√3 meters long. What is the measure of the angle the wire makes with
liberstina [14]
Well there has to be a right angle in there somewhere as the pole must be perpendicular to the ground.

Using the sine rule:
sinA/a = sinB/b where a = 10, A = 90, b = 5√3, B = B
Re-arrange for B, B = arcsin (b(sinA)/a)
B = arcsin(5√3(sin90)/10)
B = 60 degrees.

Answer is C
