Answer:

The dimension of swimming pool is 45 feet by 10 feet by 8 feet .

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

The depth of pool = 8 feet

The one side of pool is 4.5 times longer than the other

Let the measure of other side = x feet

So, the measure of one side = 4.5 x

The volume of pool = 3600 ft³

Now, Volume of pool = Length×Breadth×Height

or, 3600 = x × 4.5 x × 8

Or, 4.5 x² = \frac{3600}{8}

or, 4.5 x² = 450

Or, x² = \frac{450}{4.5}

Or,  x² = 100

∴ x = √100 = 10 feet

so,The measure of other side 10 feet , measure of one side =4.5 ×10 = 45 feet

Hence The dimension of swimming pool is 45 feet by 10 feet by 8 feet . Answer

Find the values of x any y.
Ede4ka [16]

There are so many types of angles, let's see what we've got here!

--(5x - 17) and 48 are alternate interior angles, which means that they are congruent.

--(5x - 17) and y are supplementary angles.

--48 and y are same-side interior angles, which means that they are also supplementary.

Let's solve for x first.

5x - 17 = 48

5x = 65

x = 13

Now, let's solve for y.

48 + y = 180

y = 132

Hope this helps!! :)
