A man's body washes up on a Florida beach. Some teen-agers find the body as they are walking along the beach. There doesn't seem

to be any footprints other than the teens' and there are no tire tracks near the body. The body is that of a man, seemingly fully clothed. There appears to be a dark red spot on the man's shirt. Some of the man's facial features are difficult to distinguish because they have been eaten away by ocean-dwelling animals. There is a bag strapped over the man's shoulder. The teens immediately call 911 and the police and forensic personnel arrive. What evidence should be collected? Some MUST be collected at the scene; other evidence will be collected back in the laboratory. Can you help them out by picking any evidence that might be relevant at the scene?
1) Photograph the area where the body has washed ashore. 2) Check clothing for signs of identification.
3)Examine contents of bag. Fingerprint evidence.
4) Bagged hands for scrapings later.
5) Facial reconstruction drawings.
6)Check body for signs of anything that is inconsistent or unique.
7) Collection of low-level DNA evidence (swabbing). 8)Conduct a DNA profile.
9) Do a visual examine to discover source of red spot on shirt.
10) Take impressions or photographs of teens' footprints to match with footprints near body. (There are multiple answers)

In mice, a male and female are mated, both with long ears. All female have long ears but half the males bave short ears and half
rjkz [21]

If you have both parents with long ears and some of the offsprings have short ears, you can say both parents are heterozygous for this. Both have a dominant (long ear), and a recessive allele (short ear).

To prove this, you can draw a Punnett square, and you'll see the probabilities of the offsprings.

How is variation different from speciation
Charra [1.4K]
Variations in evolution usually refers to variation of genes at a particular loci. This differs from diversity which is the total of genetic differences within a population. Speciation is the reproductive isolation of a subset of a population.
