Let

n--------> number of monthly payments

x-------> amount of monthly payments with Kristal's credit card

y-------> charges for every payment made with a credit card

T-------> total cost of the refrigerator

we know that

n=16\\x=\$112.75\\ y=\$1.25\\

the total cost of the refrigerator is equal to

T=n(x+y)

substitute the values in the formula

T=16*(112.75+1.25)

T=16*114

T=\$1,824

therefore

<u>the answer is</u>

the total cost of the refrigerator is equal to \$1,824
