When diarrhea occurs in the pediatric patient, the nurse will advise the parents to seek emergency medical treatment for the pat

They would have Severe Abdominal pain. These are the symptoms leading to that occur. If diarrhea is accompanied by fever, malaise, or abdominal pain, contact the prescriber immediately because of the possibility of excessive fluid and electrolyte loss. Dehydration and electrolyte loss occur very rapidly in the pediatric patient because of the patient's size and sensitivity to loss of fluid volume and electrolytes through the stool. Immediately report to the prescriber any abdominal distention, firm abdomen, painful abdomen, or worsening of or lack of improvement in diarrhea 24 to 48 hours after medication administration. If symptoms persist or dehydration occurs (e.g., no tears and decreased urine output in the child), contact the prescriber. If the patient is sluggish, lethargic, or confused or the diarrhea is bloody, contact the prescriber immediately or go to the closest emergency facility. hope that helped

A single strand of DNA helix consists of 100 nitrogenous base pairs. On one strand, 36 of the bases are adenine and 24 are cytos
Katena32 [7]
Hello!

For the complementary strand of DNA, 36 Thymine bases and 24 Guanine bases would complete the proper base pairing.

This is given by the concept of complementarity. A base in DNA has complementarity with only one other base. This complementarity is produced by hydrogen bond interactions.

For DNA, Adenine couples with Thymine and Cytosine couples with Guanine. So the 36 adenine bases will couple with 35 thymine bases, and so on.

Have a nice day!

In twitch summation, a) the muscle fiber is stimulated again before the filaments have completely returned to their resting posi
Ainat [17]

Answer:

the correct answer is E

Explanation:

In the sum of contractions, the action potentials are sent more frequently but not with greater intensity, this is because in the motor plate the neurotransmitters do not cease and continue to bind to their receptors, promoting the stimulation of muscle fiber, once the muscle fiber contracts, before returning to its depolarized or resting moment a new contraction begins, some researchers maintain that these contractions are stronger but that the action potential that stimulates them does not refer to more power.
