Colonists did not have much experience with guns and swordsman ship at this point of time, these people were just like ordinary people doing daily jobs and working no one knew how to shoot or fight. The Colonists were proud for being able to train and fight other soldiers in combat. They were also proud of the fact that they are serving their country for the American Revolution.
