Answer:

In June, the bakery gained $313.85

⇒ 2,205 – 1891.15 = 313.85

In July, the bakery gained $-77.33

⇒ 2,199 – 1807.82 = 391.18 ⇒ 313.85 (from June) – 391.18 = -77.33 gained OR 77.33 lost

In August, the bakery gained $55.65

⇒ 2209 – 1873.47 = 335.53 ⇒ 391.18 (from July) – 335.53 = 55.65 gained

1/2a + (-3a) - 3b - 0.7a
Anna71 [15]
If you would like to calculate 1/2 * a + (-3 * a) - 3 * b - 0.7 * a, you can do this using the following steps:

1/2 * a + (-3 * a) - 3 * b - 0.7 * a = 0.5 * a - 3 * a - 0.7 * a - 3 * b = - 3.2 * a - 3 * b

The correct result would be - 3.2 * a - 3 * b.

No, Kira's reasoning is not correct, the correct answer is 3 1/2

Steps To Solve

1. subtract 61/4 - 2 3/4

2. Since you cannot subtract you add the denominator to the numerator

3. leave the denominator the same

4. once you do that decrease the whole number by one

5. your answer should be 3 1/2
