Okay well I do it like this. 3+8=11. I put a 1 down and carry the other. so I do 7+0+1=8 so now I have 81, and last I do 6+3=9. so the answer would be 981.

Add the hundreds first then the tenths then the units. so add 600 +300 which is 900 then 70 +0 which is 70 then 8+3 which is 11 then add them all up which is 981.

Firdavs [7]

It can be deduced that the null hypothesis is H: p = 0.25 and the alternative hypothesis is H: p > 0.25.

What is the null hypothesis?

It should be noted that null and alternate hypothesis are written based on the population parameter.

From the information given, the claim is that they card was identified significantly more than chance would suggest. The proportion of card selected will be:

= 1/4 = 0.25

Therefore, the null hypothesis is H: p = 0.25 and the alternative hypothesis is H : p > 0.25.

find the root(s) of f (x) = (x + 5)3(x - 9)2(x + 1). 50 POINTS!!!!!!! -5 with multiplicity 3 5 with multiplicity 3 -9 with multi
Dmitrij [34]

Answer:

The answer to this question can be described as follows:

-5 with multiplicity 3

9 with multiplicity 2

-1 with multiplicity 1

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

\Rightarrow f (x) = (x + 5)^3(x - 9)^2(x + 1)

Solve the above equation:

\Rightarrow f (x) = (x + 5)(x + 5)(x + 5)(x - 9)(x - 9)(x + 1)\\

The roots of the polynomial are as follows:

\Rightarrow (x-x_1)(x-x_2)(x-x_3)......(x-x_n)\\\\\Rightarrow x_1,x_2,x_3.........x_n

That's why the roots are:

5 with multiplicity 3

9 with multiplicity 2

-1 with multiplicity 1
