I NEED HELP! What is the area of the Triangle?

Mathematics

Area of a triangle is usually found by the formula 1/2(bh)

the height is tricky because it is not given. there are some formulas for finding height and stuff, but the easiest way to calculate area without height and a given value for each side is by using the formula (a+b+c)/2

So the base is 7 units, hypotenuse 25, and other base 24.

7+25+24= 56

56/2=28

28 units squared

Explain why you should récord a 1 in the tens columna when you regroup in addition problem
ser-zykov [4K]
You should write a 1 because I f what you add is 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, or 19 there is a 1 in the front of the numbers so you must put a 1 but if the number was 76 the number in the front is 7 so you would put 7 on the tens column.

Based on the graph, what is the initial value of the linear relationship?
yuradex [85]

Answer:

The initial value of the linear relationship is y=-2

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

The y-intercept is the value of y when the value of x is equal to zero

The initial value is the value of the linear function when the value of x is equal to zero

therefore

The initial value is the y-coordinate of the y-intercept of the linear function

Observing the graph

The y-intercept is the point (0,-2)

so

For x=0

The value of y is equal to y=-2

I need help :( (please explain how you got your answer too)
ch4aika [34]

Answer:

a. fly = 5.7

b. fly = 7.5

Step-by-step explanation:

a.

hoist/fly = 1 / 1.9

The new hoist is 3. To get this you have to multiply 1 by 3. That means you have to multiply 1.9 by 3 too.

1.9 * 3 = 5.7

b.

hoist/fly = 3/5 (this is the new ratio)

4.5 / 3 = 1.5

5 * 1.5 = 7.5

PARAMETRIC EQUATIONS HELP!!!
Alona [7]

Answer:

1. Option A

2. Option B

Step-by-step explanation:

I would like to elaborate on the answer to the second question, since the first answer is actually  option a. Why? The question asks for a parametric equation, not set, so it would be choice a.

2. x=3t + 5 - isolate t

t=(x-5)/3 - substitute into the second equation

y = [(x-5)/3]^2 - 1

your solution is  option b
