Answer:

True.

Explanation:

An authoritarian government is also known as dictatorship and it can be defined as a type of government in which an individual who is a sole administrator is responsible for controlling, managing and directing the affairs of the particular country. Therefore, they do not listen to anyone else but rather are saddled with the decision-making responsibilities without consulting any other government official.

Hence, authoritarian governments tend to ignore rules limiting their power, if there are any rules.

Some examples of authoritarian governments was that of idi amin of Uganda.

Type of right and freedom dose Jefferson say Americans have under the state governor
Sveta_85 [38]

Thomas Jefferson was a defender of freedom of conscience and mentioned the Declaration of Independence, Natural Rights to justify and opposed Alien and Sedition Acts declaring independence from England.

Explanation:

Jefferson mentioned the Declaration of Independence. Sedition Act means anyone convicted for publishing false statements against any part of the government will be punished.

Jefferson firmly believed that every American should get the right to prevent the government from damaging the liberties of its citizens.

Perfection of liberty of Americans and freedom of speech, religion, assembly, conscience, petition and press was focused.

He felt a strong federal government could keep the country more economically and militarily secured. Similarly he was also scared that a powerful central government might hinder the rights of citizen.

What characteristics of the confederate states of america made it a confederal government when compared to the government of the
jenyasd209 [6]
A confederation is defined by rules being made by all the member states, and the member states are not obligated to be a member of that confederation. The term "United States" is actually a misnomer because the states do not have the right to secede from the Union, which was a rule which was not put into place until after the civil war. A state is a separate governing body, and the 50 states are not separate from the federal government. In fact, before the Civil War, the federal government was not as strong, and the states were actually governed as states to the point that they were called "These United States" until the end of the war, when it became "The United States". The Confederate States of America were confederal because there was a weak federal government which could be easily left by member states. (Huge Breathe)
