The one with one parent and five offspring represents asexual reproduction. Asexual reproduction only requires one parent, so the offspring are genetically identical to the parent. The advantage is that organisms can reproduce much quicker using this method.

The organizer with two parents and one offspring represents sexual reproduction. Again, sexual reproduction requires two parents.
