PEMDAS is very helpful and is a required to obtain answers to special equations
For example: (6-2) •2
You would do what’s in the brackets first. :
6-2= 4
4•2 = 8
Answer: 8

PEMDAS is very helpful. Without pemdas, people solve equations differently. For example, 2 + 3 * 2. Using pemdas, we knoow 2 + 3 * 2 = 8

However, without pemdas, someone could do 2 + 3, which is 5, then *2. Which would get 10.

PEMDAS is important to keep order.

In what ways does algebra act as a tool to improve communication? How does algebra affect how people can learn from each other?
Andreyy89

Answer: Algebra acts as a tool to improve communication because much like learning a new language, you have to take baby steps before you can fully get it. This can improve communication because you're learning something new with the help of others.

Find the slope of the line (-4, -1) (1, 4)
timofeeve [1]

(y - yo) = m.(x - xo)

We have two points (-4, -1) and (1, 4)

(-1 - 4) = m.(-4 - 1)

(-5) = m.(-5)

m = (-5)/(-5)

m = 1

So the slope is 1

Convert logx y = 1/2 to exponential form.
Lena [83]

Answer:

Exponential form: y = x^½

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

log_xy= \frac{1}{2}

Required:

The exponential form

To convert to an exponential function, we have to take exponents of both sides using the base of the logarithm function.

This gives us

x^{log_xy}= x^\frac{1}{2}

Since the base of the exponential function and the logarithm is the same (x), they'll cancel out one another

This leaves us with

y= x^\frac{1}{2}

Hence, the exponential form of the expression

log_xy= \frac{1}{2} is y= x^\frac{1}{2}
