TEA [102]

Answer:

"The Roman army made the roads and sea routes safe for traders. In turn, trade helped the economy grow. People in each area of the empire could sell what they grew or made to people in other areas who could use these goods. They could also buy things that they couldn't produce for themselves."

What would result if everyone became self-sufficient?
Naddika [18.5K]

Answer:

D. there would be no need for markets to purchase goods and services

Explanation:

Self sufficiency which the act whereby an individual can be able to meet his or her needs without recourse the seeking help whatsoever from another person. This is an etopiain scenario projected which is hardly reliasiable as a result of everyone needing help at one point or the other over the course of his or her living on earth.

For example, someone that is good in electrical repairs would need the help of someon who is good in farming for his or her daily feeding inorder to stay living and vice versa. This he could achieve through the act of buying and selling either by trade by barter or using money.

If everyone become self sufficient, that simply means that there would be no need for buying and selling of goods and services.
