Cane toads are large, terrestrial toads that originated in south and central America. However, in recent times, these toads have been introduced to many different regions, most notably in Oceania, the Caribbean and Australia. This has damaged many native populations in these regions. The success of the toad is a consequence of some physical and behavioural adaptations.
For example, the toad has an advantage over most native species due to its opportunistic diet. These toads are able to eat both dead and living matter. Another example of a useful adaptation is the fact that the toad has poison glands, and its tadpoles are highly toxic if ingested.
Coming from a black person the way that slave owners treated black people was inhumane. We wre literally publically mocked and beaten. No one honestly had to go through that but black people. And till this day it still hurts and puts a nasty taste in my mouth about slave holders or owners

If the rubber quota was not met, then the consequence was death. The Force Publique, who was Leopold's personal police force set in the Congo, was required to collect a right hand per successful kill. hands could've been collected by FP officers, or by the villagers themselves. Since bullets couldn't be wasted, hands were sometimes chopped off while the victim was still alive. Often times, when villages were expected to pay the different with hands, they'd attack other villages to gather hands.
