Proofread the passage and identify spelling errors and improper use of punctuation. The world today is -filled- with advertiseme
Juli2301 [7.4K]

Answer:

The world today is - filled - with advertisements. We see them on TV, In the newspaper, on the Internet, and and in our surroundings. The - advertising - industry - effects - the way we look at and judge people around us.

Explanation:

Error 1: The over extensive use of hyphens throughout the sentence is uncalled for.

Error 2: The words "in" and "internet" should not be capitalized because they are not proper nouns. The only reason that you should have a capitalized word is when it's at the beginning of a sentence, or when it's a proper noun.

Error 3: There's a double "and" in the middle of sentence two.

Long, unbroken pages of text show authority and draw the reader into the writing
Liula [17]
As a writer and reader I disagree with this. Perhaps if you are writing for a scientific journal or business report, long blocks of text can seem like you have a lot of info. Generally speaking, especially in fiction and non fiction i think unbroken pages of text will best case scenario bore a reader, worst case scenraio burden and overwhelm them with a lot of info so the feel daunted about continuing.

Read the phrase. the dogs of the girls Which is the correct way to rewrite this phrase? the girls’s dogs the girls’es dogs the g
pogonyaev
It would be the girls’ dogs since there are multiple owners of the dogs. You keep the girls plural and use the apostrophe at the end to make it girls’ since it is both plural and possessive.
