Answer:

  • Burgers - $8.29 and fries - $4.39

Step-by-step explanation:

Let burgers - b, fries - f

  • 8b + 3f = 79.49
  • 12b + 6f = 125.82

Double the first equation and subtract the second equation:

  • 16b + 6f - 12b - 6f = 2(79.49) - 125.82
  • 4b = 33.16
  • b = 33.16/4
  • b = 8.29

Find f:

  • 8(8.29) + 3f = 79.49
  • 3f = 79.49 - 66.32
  • 3f = 13.17
  • f = 13.17/3
  • f = 4.39

If trapezoid JKLM is translated according to the rule (x,y)—> (x+2, y - 6), what are the coordinates of point L
guapka [62]

Answer:

( x, y) is translation '2' units right and '6' units down

(x ,y))—> (x +2 ,y-6)

Step-by-step explanation:

Explanation:-

Type of transformation change to co-ordinate point

vertical translation up 'd' units (x,y) changes to (x , y+d)

vertical translation down 'd' units (x,y) changes to (x , y-d)

Horizontal translation left 'c' units (x,y) changes to (x-c , y)

Horizontal translation right 'c' units (x,y) changes to (x+c , y)

Now by use above table

given data ( x, y) is translation '2' units right and '6' units down

(x ,y))—> (x +2 ,y-6)

Final answer:-

( x, y) is translation '2' units right and '6' units down

(x ,y))—> (x +2 ,y-6)

Please Help! Are F(x) and G(x) inverse functions across the domain [3,+∞)?
allochka39001 [22]

Answer:

A

Explanation:

For functions to be inverse, it must be true that f( g(x) ) = x and g( f(x) ) = x.

But for F( G(x) ), we have √( G(x) - 3 ) + 8

= √( (x+8)² - 3 - 3 ) + 8

= √( (x+8)² - 6 ) + 8

This -6 part should be cancelled out for functions to work out but we cannot do that, therefore F(x) and G(x) are not inverse.
