A cake recipe says to bake the cake until the center is 180°F. then let the cake cool to 100°F. The table shows temperature read

ings for the cake.
a. Given a room temperature of 69°F, what is an
exponential model for this data set?

Answer:

8.058655822 mins

Step-by-step explanation:

We have a  table and to solve for this we might want to find the  equation for this

This is a exponential function

To solve for this we need the rate of decay and the x intercept

We know the x intercept is 180 because in 0 mins the temp is 180

To solve for decay we need to know the temp of the cake after 1 min

to get the decay value we can do

125=  180 (x)^5

.69444444444 = x^5

0.929667185 = x

so the equation would be

180 (0.929667185)^x

if we tell this equation to equal 100

we get

100 = 180 (0.929667185)^x

.5556 = (0.929667185)^x

log .5556 = log 0.929667185 *x

log .5556 / log .929667185)

8.058655822= x

After 8.058655822 mins the cake will be 100 degrees

What is a domain and range <br>and how do I find it
Mademuasel [1]

Answer: Because the domain refers to the set of possible input values, the domain of a graph consists of all the input values shown on the x-axis. The range is the set of possible output values, which are shown on the y-axis.

Simplify the following expression.
Blizzard [7]

Answer:

\huge{  \boxed{ \sf{ \frac{1}{64} }}}

Step-by-step explanation:

\star{ \sf{ \:   \:  \: {4}^{ -  \frac{11}{3} }  \div  {4}^{ -  \frac{2}{3} } }}

\underline{ \:  \text{Remember!}} : If \sf{ {x}^{a}  \: and \:  {x}^{b} } are two algebraic terms , then their quotient is given by \sf{ {x}^{a}   \div  {x}^{b} =  {x}^{a - b} }

i.e To divide two terms with the same base, the power of divide is subtracted from the power of the dividend and the same base is taken.

\mapsto{ \sf{ {4}^{ -  \frac{11}{3} - ( -  \frac{2}{ 3})  } }}

\sf{We \: know \: that  :  ( - ) \times ( - ) = ( + )}

\mapsto{ \sf{ {4}^{ -  \frac{11}{3}  +  \frac{2}{3} } }}

Now, Simplify : -11/3 and 2/3

While performing the addition or subtraction of like fraction, you just have to add or subtract the numerator respectively in which the denominator is retained same.

\mapsto{ \sf{ {4}^{ \frac{ - 11 + 2}{3} } }}

\underline{ \text{Remember!}} : The negative and positive integers are always subtracted but posses the sign of the bigger integer

\mapsto{ \sf{ {4}^{ \frac{ - 9}{3} } }}

Divide -9 by 3

\mapsto{ \sf{ {4}^{ - 3} }}

\underline{ \text{Remember!}} : If \sf{ {a}^{  - m}} is an algebraic term , where m is a negative integer , then

\sf{ {a}^{ - m}  =  \frac{1}{ {a}^{m} } }

\mapsto{ \sf{ \frac{1}{ {4}^{3} } }}

Evaluate the power : 4³

\mapsto{ \sf{ \frac{1}{64} }}

Hope I helped!

Best regards!:D
