Answer:

Yes, One can is enough to cover the wall.

Explanation:

Given - Adalyn's mom is painting a wall in her bedroom with chalkboard

paint. If the dimensions of the wall are 12 feet by 9 feet and one

can of paint covers up to 110 square feet.

To find - Will one can be enough to cover the wall ? Explain.

Proof -

Given that ,

Dimensions of the wall are 12 feet by 9 feet .

Also,

One can of paint covers up to 110 square feet.

Now,

We know that Area of wall should be painted.

So, firstly we find the area of the wall.

Now,

Area = 12×9 feet²

       = 108 feet²

⇒Area of wall = 108 feet²

Now,

As Area of the wall (108 feet²) < One can of paint covers (110 feet²)

∴ we get

One can is enough to cover the wall.

How are landforms near the edge of continents different from landforms in the continental interior? How are these landforms rela
djyliett [7]

The landforms in the interior of the continents and at their margins mostly differ because of the difference in geological activity.

Explanation:

The landforms that are found in the interior of the continents tend to be old. They also are mostly consisted of sedimentary and metamorphic rocks. In general the erosion is much more evident and dominant, thus the landforms also are with lower elevations when compared with the ones on the edges. This is due to the lack of geological activity as the interiors of the continents tend to be far away from the plate boundaries.

The landforms on the edges of the continents tend to be younger in general. The reason for that are the subduction zones and intense geological activity. The intense geological activity is due to the close proximity of the plate boundaries. The landforms tend to be higher in general, and volcanic arcs are also a common sight.

Oceans change the land along the shore, forming tall cliffs and jagged coastlines. Which statement explains the type of weatheri
Yanka [14]

Oceans change the land along the shore, forming tall cliffs and jagged coastlines. "The abrasive nature of seawater causes the rocks to erode over a period of time", the statement explains the type of weathering involved in this process

Explanation:

The abrasive nature of the sea water of the ocean causes erosion in the rocks which are along the shore. And, this occurs for a period of time causes the formation of the tall cliffs sometimes or to the jagged coastline the other time.

The duration of erosion decides the fate of the cliff or coastline. Erosion of rocks are highly evident in ocean shore line due to the effect of salinity of the sea water. The rocks gets eroded firstly to form jagged coastline which on long exposed erosion forms cliff.
