Hello!

This is going to be a system of equations problem. so we need to set up some equations. we know the test has 52 questions, and is made up of multiple-choice and short answer questions. so x + y = 52 is our first equation we know the entire test has 155 points, and the multiple-choice are 2 points, and the short answer are 5 points. so 2x + 5y = 155 is our second equation so our system of equations is x + y = 52 2x + 5y = 155.

There are a few ways to solve it. i think i'd use the substitution method.

I Hope my answer has come to your Help. Thank you for posting your question here in Brainly. We hope to answer more of your questions and inquiries soon. Have a nice day ahead! :)

Use the function below to find F(2).<br> F(t) = 2•1/2^3t
navik [9.2K]

Answer:

F(2)= \frac{1}{32}

Step-by-step explanation:

The given function is

F(t) = 2 \cdot \:  \frac{1}{{2}^{3t} }

To find F(2), we substitute t=2 into the function.

This means that wherever we see t, we put 2

F(2) = 2 \cdot \:  \frac{1}{{2}^{3 \times 2} }

We multiply the exponent in the denominator to get:

F(2) = 2 \cdot \:  \frac{1}{{2}^{6} }

We evaluate to get:

F(2) = 2 \cdot \:  \frac{1}{64}

We now cancel the common factors to get:

F(2) = \frac{1}{32}

*Translate into an algebraic expression: How much 50% sugar syrup can you make if you have x grams of sugar?
Irina-Kira [14]

Answer:

w = x/50% = x/50/100

Step-by-step explanation:

We would turn the above question into an algebraic expression using variables.

To make a sugar syrup, we need sugar and water to form the solution.

Amount of sugar = x gram

Let amount of water = w gram

Sugar syrup solution = 50%

Sugar syrup solution = (amount of sugar)/(amount of water) × 100

50% = x/w × 100%

50% = x/w

Making w subject formula

w = x/50%

w = x/50/100
