Answer:

True.

Explanation:

The bystander effect is the effect that was developed by psychologists Bibb Latane and John Darley. The effect suggests that a person is less likely to receive help in an emergency when there are several witnesses around. A famous example of the bystander effect was the brutal murder case of Catherine Genovese.

In the given scenario, Mrs. Blake experienced the bystander effect because she was able to receive help quickly in the emergency situation (flat tire) when on an isolated highway than when the situation was on a busy freeway.

So, the answer is true.

DedPeter [7]

Mr. Enfield and Mr. Utterson are both similar in that they B) both express sympathy for Jekyll's predicament. We know this because Mr. Enfield expresses his sympathy when he says "Yes, its a bad story" referring to Jekyll's situation. Also Mr. Utterson expresses sympathy when he thinks to himself "Poor Harry Jekyll." Both men feel sorry for Jekyll's situation and express sympathy for him.

What are the specific difference between bulimia nervosa and binge-eating ?
mihalych1998 [28]
People who suffer from bulimia nervosa experience binge-eating episodes which are followed by "purging" as it is called, meaning that people who suffer from bulimia nervosa will first eat huge amounts of food and wll later vomit this food out as to prevent weight gain.

Binge-eating on the other hand is similar in the sense that people who suffer from this eat a lot of food but do not "purge" afterwards; they just eat huge amounts of food. People who suffer from binge-eating can gain a lot of weiht in short periods of time.
