<u><em>x=8 is the correct answer.</em></u> First you had to subtract by 5 from both sides of equation, and it gave us, \frac{x}{4}+5-5=7-5. And then simplify, and it gave us, \frac{x}{4}=2. Then you can multiply by 4 from both sides of equation, and it gave us, \frac{4x}{4}=2*4. And finally simplify, and it gave us the answer is 2*4=8, or <u><em>x=8 is the correct answer.</em></u> Hope this helps! And thank you for posting your question at here on brainly, and have a great day. -Charlie

Here is your equation:

\frac{x}{4} + 5 = 7

You're looking for x. To find x alone, you have to remove everything on the same side of it. On that side you have:

\frac{x}{4} + 5

The only thing you need to remove is +5(positive 5). To remove it, you have to  do the opposite of it, which is -5(negative 5). It is also the same as subtracting 5. Subtract 5 from both sides:

\frac{x}{4} + 5 - 5 = 7-5 \\ \\ \frac{x}{4} = 2

x divided by 4 is equal to 2. To find x, you have to do the opposite of what's happening to it. x is being divided by 4. The opposite of that is multiplying by 4(times 4).

\frac{x}{4}=2 \rightarrow x = 4 \times 2

Multiply:

4 \times 2 = 8

That means your answer is 8 ; x = 8

Right triangle ABC and its image, triangle A'B'C' are shown in the image attached.
AlladinOne [14]

Answer:

See explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

Triangle ABC ha vertices at: A(-3,6), B(0,-4) and (2,6).

Let us apply 90 degrees clockwise about the origin twice to obtain 180 degrees clockwise rotation.

We apply the 90 degrees clockwise rotation rule.

(x,y)\to (y,-x)

\implies A(-3,6)\to (6,3)

\implies B(0,4)\to (4,0)

\implies C(2,6)\to (6,-2)

We apply the 90 degrees clockwise rotation rule again on the resulting points:

\implies (6,3)\to A''(3,-6)

\implies (4,0)\to B''(0,-4)

\implies (6,-2)\to C''(-2,-6)

Let us now apply 90 degrees counterclockwise  rotation about the origin twice to obtain 180 degrees counterclockwise rotation.

We apply the 90 degrees counterclockwise rotation rule.

(x,y)\to (-y,x)

\implies A(-3,6)\to (-6,-3)

\implies B(0,4)\to (-4,0)

\implies C(2,6)\to (-6,2)

We apply the 90 degrees counterclockwise rotation rule again on the resulting points:

\implies (-6,-3)\to A''(3,-6)

\implies (-4,0)\to B''(0,-4)

\implies (-6,2)\to C''(-2,-6)

We can see that A''(3,-6), B''(0,-4) and C''(-2,-6) is the same for both the 180 degrees clockwise and counterclockwise rotations.
