The 2 types of glaciers are continental glaciers and alpine glaciers

Continental glaciers are Continental glaciers are continuous masses of ice that are much larger than alpine glaciers. Small continental glaciers are called ice fields. Big continental glaciers are called ice sheets.

Alpine glaciers are a glacier formed among summits and descending a mountain valley.

I am not entirely sure about this. So maybe my response can help you find the answer a little better if my answer is not entirely right?

These last three questions are referring to everything you just worked on. So all you would have to do is refer back to your previous answers. Recall that the titles of the "part 1, 2, and 3" are titled "crossing beak color and tail-feather length", "crossing beak color and feather color", and "mapping tail-feather length and feather color".

1.List the distances between each pair of genes:
beak color and tail-feather length: 20 MU
beak color and feather color: 16 MU
tail-feather length and feather color: 4 MU

2.Which two alleles are the farthest apart?
(the one that is 20 MU apart) Y and L

3.Which two alleles are the closest together?
(the ones that are 4 MU apart) L and B

1. Suppose that you take your boat offshore for a day of deep-sea fishing. You drop anchor at a supposed ‘hot spot’ and you noti
Mashcka [7]

The swim bladder is more or less an oval, soft-walled pouch located in the abdominal cavity, just below the spinal column. Its shape varies greatly, but the volume is constant between species, most often around 5% of body.

Day of deep-sea fishing

1. The volume of your swim bladder when you put it back in the water would be 7.5 liters.

2. The time the fish would float on the surface before the oval could restore neutral buoyancy would be a few seconds.

3. If I were a red blood cell that has just delivered its oxygen to the tail musculature of a mako shark, the route through the circulatory system to eventually reach the mako's swim bladder would be the venous route, like other fish, they have a heart with two chambers, an atrium and a ventricle, and closed circulation.

With this information, we can conclude that the volume of her swim bladder when she was put back in the water would be 7.5 liters.

Show a diagram of how ions are formed when a sodium atom comes into close
Firdavs [7]

Answer:

The diagram is attached below.

Explanation:

when sodium and chlorine comes close together they form anion and cation. The compound formed is called sodium chloride.

Both atoms bonded together through ionic bond.

Ionic bond:

It is the bond which is formed by the transfer of electron from one atom to the atom of another element.

Both bonded atoms have very large electronegativity difference. The atom with large electronegativity value accept the electron from other with smaller value of electronegativity.

For example:

Sodium chloride is ionic compound. The electronegativity of chlorine is 3.16 and for sodium is 0.93. There is large difference is present. That's why electron from sodium is transfer to the chlorine. Sodium becomes positive and chlorine becomes negative ion.
