Answer:

The answer is true.

Explanation:

take the example of magnet. If a iron nail is taken and put beside a magnet, it is going to get attracted towards magnet. Now, pull the iron nail slightly farther from the magnet. we will observe that the magnetic force is less.

Hence we conclude that the farther away an object is, the weaker the gravitational pull becomes.

Whitepunk [10]

Answer:

One unfortunate result of the scientifically unsupported contention that vaccinations play a major role in the development of autism spectrum disorder is that in the first half of 2008, rates of measles cases in the United States doubled as compared to the rates observed between 2000 and 2007.

Explanation:

 • Though the contention was not supported with scientific findings and was only based on general observation, the results of the contention clearly exhibited that the vaccination has failed as there was an increase in cases with measles contraction.
 • Merely for the fact that the contention lacks scientific support, it was not given enough emphasis and means and methods other than what the contention suggested were implemented to address the problem.

What are three similarities between the Roman republic government and the United States government? What are three differences b
solniwko [45]

In Roman society, the aristocrats were known as patricians. The highest positions in the government were held by two consuls, or leaders, who ruled the Roman Republic. A senate composed of patricians elected these consuls. At this time, lower-class citizens, or plebeians, had virtually no say in the government.

If psychologists discovered that wealthy people are less satisfied with their marriages than poor people are, this would indicat
Andrews [41]

Answer:

B) negatively correlated.

Explanation:

The case is set, would reflect a negative correlation between wealth and marital satisfaction.

This means that not necessarily the wealth would cause marriages to report higher levels of happiness or satisfaction. This would imply that there is an inverse relationship between two variables - when one variable decreases, the other increases. So to the contrary, it would mean the opposite. Having less money would favor marital satisfaction.

It is so believed that money issues are important variables so, they should be reconsidered. In the case as stated having more money turns into less satisfaction of the pair.

A example that is similar to this as a negative correlation, is the birth of children, and mariage, since the condition creates stress that the new creature poses to the relationship between the pair, that was often better treated.

How do men and women differ in their views about becoming independent from parental authority?
skelet666 [1.2K]

Mars-Venus sex differences appear to be as mythical as the Man in the Moon. A 2005 analysis of 46 meta-analyses that were conducted during the last two decades of the 20th century underscores that men and women are basically alike in terms of personality, cognitive ability and leadership. Psychologist Janet Shibley Hyde, PhD, of the University of Wisconsin in Madison, discovered that males and females from childhood to adulthood are more alike than different on most psychological variables, resulting in what she calls a gender similarities hypothesis. Using meta-analytical techniques that revolutionized the study of gender differences starting in the 1980s, she analyzed how prior research assessed the impact of gender on many psychological traits and abilities, including cognitive abilities, verbal and nonverbal communication, aggression, leadership, self-esteem, moral reasoning and motor behaviors.

Hyde observed that across the dozens of studies, consistent with the gender similarities hypothesis, gender differences had either no or a very small effect on most of the psychological variables examined. Only a few main differences appeared: Compared with women, men could throw farther, were more physically aggressive, masturbated more, and held more positive attitudes about sex in uncommitted relationships.

Furthermore, Hyde found that gender differences seem to depend on the context in which they were measured. In studies designed to eliminate gender norms, researchers demonstrated that gender roles and social context strongly determined a person's actions. For example, after participants in one experiment were told that they would not be identified as male or female, nor did they wear any identification, none conformed to stereotypes about their sex when given the chance to be aggressive. In fact, they did the opposite of what would be expected - women were more aggressive and men were more passive.

Finally, Hyde's 2005 report looked into the developmental course of possible gender differences - how any apparent gap may open or close over time. The analysis presented evidence that gender differences fluctuate with age, growing smaller or larger at different times in the life span. This fluctuation indicates again that any differences are not stable.
