Only the number in the tens place increases by one and the ones place stays as 0 i.e. 10, 20, 30... you could do 1,2,3... and then just add a zero to the end of that number. when you reach ten keep going, i.e. 8,9,10,11,12,13... would end up being 80,90,100,110,120,130.

kicyunya [14]

<em>x</em> = liters of 1% solution

<em>y</em> = liters of 5% solution

<em />

<em>x</em> + <em>y</em> = 16

0.01<em>x</em> + 0.05<em>y</em> = 0.04*16 = 0.64

<em />

<em>y</em> = 16 - <em>x</em>

F(x) represents a function. If x is the number of days and she can do 225 per day, that would be multiplication to find the total 225x

With 45 extra, we must add those to the equation.

F(x) = 225x + 45
