Not much to say, the question pretty much defines the technique. The first successful birth via IVF happened with the birth of Louise Brown in 1978. There are some issues with IVF that can cause complications. Among them are multiple births (twins or triplets) due to multiple blastocysts successfully implanting in the woman's uterus.</span>

What differentiates anthropocentric and biocentric views of the environment?
Dafna11 [192]
If we were to differentiate anthroprocentric and biocentric views of the environment you could say that anthroprocentric is more holistic than biocentric. They consider the importance of the environment to human beings. Biocentric sees humans as an individual part of the environment.

Also Biocentric views tend to focus more on biotic factors (living things) and anthroprocentric veer towards the abiotic factors (non-living things).

How is the ability to recognize the umami taste an evolutionary advantage?
vova2212 [387]

Answer:

Umami identifies foods that might contain essential amino acids.

Explanation:

You may have heard that our taste buds can recognize the four basic tastes: sweet, salty, sour and bitter. But what many still do not know is that the human taste recognizes one more taste - the "umami".

Umami is recognized by our taste buds when we eat foods that contain substances called aminoacids. The umami flavor is composed of three main substances present in various foods: glutamate, inosinate and guanylate. The ability to recognize umami taste is an evolutionary advantage of humans that represents the ability to identify foods that may contain essential aminoacids.
