Why was Martin Luther (Who wrote the 95 Theses) excommunicated from the Catholic church in the 1500's?
VashaNatasha [74]

Prince Frederick III the Wise had banned the sale of indulgences in Wittenberg, many church members traveled to purchase them. When they returned, they showed the pardons they had bought to Luther, claiming they no longer had to repent for their sins. <span>Luther’s frustration with this practice led him to write the 95 Theses, which were quickly snapped up, translated from Latin into German and distributed widely. A copy made its way to Rome, and efforts began to convince Luther to change his tune. Why did the British abandon Boston in early 1776?
Yanka [14]
The British abandoned Boston in early 1776 because they were forced out of the country by the American soldiers.
American Revolutionary War was at large, and the Patriots, led by general Washington (who later became the first president of USA) won the battle at Boston, which was bloodless, by the way. This brought an end to an eight-year British occupation of the city.
