First, I would transform 2 divided by 1/2 into 2 times 2, since when you divide fractions, you flip the second fraction over, to get its reciprocal, so 1/2 would become 2. Now we have 2 times 2, which equals 4, divided by 5/8. Then we would do the same thing as in the first step. Flip the second fraction around to get its reciprocal. 5/8 is now 8/5. So just solve 4 times 8/5, to get 32/5, which simplifies to 6 2/5, or in decimal form, 6.4.

Your answer is 6 2/5.
