No way don’t give up brotha
The absolute value is the value of the number without the sign. So in this case it's 3 and -3
1 + sec^2(x)sin^2(x) = sec^2(x)
This becomes
1+tan^2(x) = sec^2(x) which is an identity
You could
1 + sin^2(x)/cos^2(x) = sec^2(x)
then
cos^2(x) + sin^2(x) = cos^2(x)sec^2(x)
1 = 1
Y + 1 = 5(x - 7)
y + 1 = 5x - 35
y = 5x - 36
