An appeal to<em> logos</em> is one which uses logical arguments in order to persuade the reader of an opinion. In this case, President Obama is providing logical arguments as evidence for his claim. He argues that unity is vital to the country because a single person cannot accomplish everything that is necessary for a society to function and thrive.

The city is one of the most expensive cities to live in China. It is also one of the main industrial centers. Shanghai is also home to one of the largest free-trade zones in China.
