It assures the insemination process because the cytoplasm contains the organelles ( mitochondria, Golgi apparatus, cytoplasmic reticulum etc. ). It is the go-between and transfers information between each organelles. Also, cytoplasmic transfer includes proteins, and mRNA along with the cytoplasm (and its organelles) to be taken from the donor egg.
