Also, studying with a friend seriously helps. They can explain to you concepts that you don't understand, and you can better understand the ones you already know by explaining it to them. Plus, you need to take a lot of breaks. If you find yourself getting distracted or fidgety, take a break and relax for a little bit. And another thing for taking notes: when the day is over and you're at home doing nothing, take the time to go over your notes and write a short summary of what you know, just to confirm what you learned, and write any questions you may have about the subject so you know to look into it another time.
