Answer:

x > 22

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

52 - 3x < - 14 ( subtract 52 from both sides )

- 3x < - 66

Divide both sides by - 3, reversing the symbol as a result of dividing by a negative quantity.

x > 22

Solve for x: 4x-8=-4
leonid [27]
So first u need to get the variables separate from the constants so add 8 to both sides. then u get 4x = 4 then u can divide each side by 4 to get x alone.
so the answer is
x = 1

I'm not very good at solving these problems

1 atom of C has a mass of 12 amu (atomic mass unit).

1 atom of O has a mass of 16 amu.

1 molecule of CO₂ thus has a mass of 12 + 2×16 = 44 amu.

C thus makes up 12/44 ≈ 0.27 of the total mass of CO₂, while O makes up the remaining 32/44 ≈ 0.73.

Then in a 2 kg = 2000 g block of CO₂, carbon makes up about 12/44 × 2000 ≈ 545 g.

How can you determine if a realationship is linear from a table, a graph, or and equation
Ivan
It is linear through a:

Table: the y values have a constant rate of change. For example the y values would be 7, 14, 21, 28 going up by 7 each time. This would not be an example: 6, 12, 17, 18.

Graph: The line of the graph is straight!

Equation: It is in y=mx+b or slope intercept form. Hope this helps!

Graph y<4x-3 idk which one it is
pav-90 [236]

Answer:

The bottom right graph is correct, with the y-intercept at -3 and the graph shaded to the right.

Step-by-step explanation:

The inequality of y < 4x - 3 is written in slope-intercept form (y = mx + b), where m = slope and b = y-intercept. The difference between a linear equation and linear inequality is that an equation only produces one answer while an inequality and can have several answers. Because the y-intercept = -3, the graph should cross the y-axis at -3, which it does for all the given graphs. However, the slope is 4, which means that the change in 'y' over the change in 'x' is 4/1 - up four units and to the right one unit. This would give us the choice of the bottom to graphs.

Since the inequality is y < 4x - 3, then all answers must be less than the total value of the expression, which means we shade to the right of the line.
