To support this assertion, the passage narrated Archibald Rutledge's experience with a injured deer who seemed uncomfortable with the treatment received from a human in a bid to heal his injury and instead utilized personal strategy of opening up the wound, licking and exposing the injured area to sunlight worked for the deer. It was however found that animals posses enzymes which serves as antiseptic and resist the presence of bacteria on their tongue which was key to healing the deer's wound.
