How can you add, subtract and multiply with decimals

Mathematics
1 answer:
WINSTONCH [101]3 years ago
6 0

Lets Take two decimals 1.01 and 2.32

Addition:-

\\ \sf\longmapsto 1.01+2.32

\\ \sf\longmapsto \dfrac{101}{100}+\dfrac{232}{100}

\\ \sf\longmapsto \dfrac{333}{100}

\\ \sf\longmapsto 3.33

Subtraction:-

\\ \sf\longmapsto 2.32-1.01

\\ \sf\longmapsto \dfrac{232}{100}-\dfrac{101}{100}

\\ \sf\longmapsto \dfrac{131}{100}

\\ \sf\longmapsto 1.31

Multiplication:-

\\ \sf\longmapsto 1.01\times 2.32

\\ \sf\longmapsto \dfrac{101}{100}\times \dfrac{232}{100}

\\ \sf\longmapsto \dfrac{23432}{10000}

\\ \sf\longmapsto 2.3432

How do you graph -x+y&gt;5
AveGali [126]

-x + y > 5      <em>add x to bot sides</em>

y > x + 5 → y = x + 5

for x = 0 → y = 0 + 5 = 5 → (0, 5)

for x = -5 → y = -5 + 5 = 0 → (-5, 0)

The dotted line (sign >, not ≥).

We shade above the line (y > ...).

Rewrite in radical form. If the number is rational, write it without using radical
Irina18 [472]

Answer:

25/16

Step-by-step explanation:

simplify

(64/125)^(-2/3)

= [125/64]^(2/3)].

{since (x/y)^(-m) = (y/x)^m}

=[[(5/4)³]^(1/3)]²

= [5/4]²

= [25/16]
