Case of the Unclear Law- The city of Beautifica has established a nice park in the town center. The city council wishes to prese

rve some elements of nature, undisturbed by city noise, traffic, pollution, and overcrowding. The park is a place where citizens can go and find fields, trees, flowers, and quiet. In addition, there is a playground and picnic area. At one time, a road ran through the park, but is has been closed. The city council passed a rule requiring that all the entrances to the park have a sign posted that states the following: NO VEHICLES IN THE PARK. The law seems clear, but disputes have arisen over its interpretation.
Instructions- Interpret the law, keeping in mind what the rule says and its intent. Examine each situation and determine if that vehicle should be allowed in the park. Also discuss the reason for your choice. At the end, rewrite the law to be more clear.

1. Tony lives on one side of the city and works on the other. He will save time by driving his car through the park.

2. To keep the park clean, trash barrels are located throughout the park. The sanitation department wants to drive a garbage truck into the park to collect the trash, twice a week.

3. Two city police cars were chasing a suspected armed bank robbery suspect. One police car cut through the park's old road to cut off the fugitive.

4. An ambulance is racing to the hospital with a critical care patient. They can save precious time by cutting through the park.

5. Elena takes her baby to the park in a stroller.

6. A memorial monument is being set up on the park, to honor the city's citizens who served in the US Armed Forces. The flatbed truck carrying the memorial needs access.

7. Amul has lost both of his legs in an auto accident. He wants to visit the park in his electric wheelchair.

8. Rewrite the law, in a new way, making it more clear to citizens.

3. What role does the consumer play in determining the goods that are produced? (consumer
tatiyna

3) Consumer sovereignty concerns the principle of hedonism, individualism and, as some economists often say, selfishness, or exacerbated individual freedom, where the human being has complete freedom to do, whatever he wants and understands and, anywhere, nothing interferes with the decisions of those who need to satisfy their needs. This economic philosophy adopts the principle of laissez faire, or in other words, what works is Adam Smith's infamous invisible hand, or more clearly, the system where the government does not interfere in the economy, it exists only to coordinate the political and social system, without active participation in the development of economic activity. It is what is called in the classic and neoclassical language, an economy of free competition, that is to say, everyone is free before their preferred choices.

4) The economic system in the US is free enterprise. Free enterprise is a principle that establishes the possibility for ordinary people to participate in the market without the need for authorization or approval by the State. If you have the possibility to open a company, sell a product and negotiate the price that is right for you, you owe it to the principle of free enterprise.

The government has a fundamental role in the economic system, such as legislating, placing wealth in the market, as well as inspecting these systems.

5) The price floor wage is the lowest wage a company can pay for an employee. It is established by law and is reassessed every year based on the cost of living of the population, its creation was made based on the minimum amount that a person spends to guarantee their survival.

The most common price floor is the minimum wage--a minimum price that can be payed for labor.
