2. The French and Indian War began in 1754 and ended with the Treaty of Paris in 1763. The war provided Great Britain enormous territorial gains in North America, but disputes over subsequent frontier policy and paying the war's expenses led to colonial discontent, and ultimately to the American Revolution.

First : The British victory in the French and Indian War had a great impact on the British Empire. Firstly, it meant a great expansion of British territorial claims in the New World. But the cost of the war had greatly enlarged Britain's debt. Moreover, the war generated substantial resenment towards the colonists among English leaders, who were not satisfied with the financial and military help they had received from the colonists during the war. All these factors combined to persuade many English leaders that the colonies needed a major reorganization and that the central authority should be in London. The English leaders set in motion plans to give London more control over the government of the colonies and these plans were eventually a big part of the colonial resentment towards British imperial policies that led to the American Revolution.

Second : The passing of the Tea Act imposed no new taxes on the American colonies. ... Besides the tax on tea which had been in place since 1767, what fundamentally angered the American colonists about the Tea Act was the British East India Company's government sanctioned monopoly on tea.

Third: By allowing the East India Company to sell tea directly in the American colonies, the Tea Act cut out colonial merchants, and the prominent and influential colonial merchants reacted with anger.

Answer:

Because they had a massive exploration by the mother country (the one responsible by the conquest), which took a considerable part of their goods.

Explanation:

The Latin American colonies were different from the British Colonies (Thirteen Colonies and Canada) because they were explored massively by Portugal and Spain during the three centuries of colonialism. The Iberian countries were following an economic and political idea called Mercantilism which, as the main aspect, was the exploration of a colony, taking the goods and sending it to the mother country. Only a small part was left for the colony. And why those colonies don't rebel against the mother country, you may ask. Because since the very moment the Iberian countries began their colonization, they didn't leave any possibility of revolution, with laws and severe control of the settlers and natives. Any try of revolution or riot was massively dismissed with violence.
