Why is it easier to interact with county government than with state or federal government?
taurus [48]
Since the county government has a much smaller region in which they look over, it makes it easier for citizens to interact with them. Consider that the county government is usually close to citizens, while the federal government is located in Washington DC. This means that citizens in states along the west coast ( like California, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, etc.) are thousands of miles away from members of the federal government. The county government is also much closer to citizens than the state government, as this is usually located in the state capitol of each respective state.

Would the Manhattan Project have been accomplished so quickly if we had not been at war at the time?
Vitek1552 [10]
No. For one thing, the project was rushed to end the war quickly. For another, a lot of the technology was taken from work already done by German scientists, so recreating all that data in America as original information would have been labor intensive and time consuming.
