Let no of miles be y

  • A=0.7y+70
  • B=0.8y+20

\\ \sf\longmapsto A=B

\\ \sf\longmapsto 0.7y+70=0.8y+20

\\ \sf\longmapsto 0.8y-0.7y=70-20

\\ \sf\longmapsto 0.1y=50

\\ \sf\longmapsto y=\dfrac{50}{0.1}

\\ \sf\longmapsto y=500miles

Answer:

  • 500 miles

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number of miles is x.

<u>Then for each company we have total charge of:</u>

  • A = 0.7x + 70
  • B = 0.8x + 20

<u>Since A = B, solve for x:</u>

  • 0.7x + 70 = 0.8x + 20
  • 0.8x - 0.7x = 70 - 20
  • 0.1x = 50
  • x = 50/0.1
  • x = 500 miles

Answer:

The probability of observing a sample mean of x = 52 or greater from a sample size of 25 is 0.0000026

Step-by-step explanation:

Mean = \mu = 45

Population standard deviation =\sigma = 6

Sample size = n =25

Sample mean = \bar{x} = 52

We are supposed to find  the probability of observing a sample mean of x = 52 or greater from a sample size of 25 i.e.P(x\geq 52)

Z=\frac{x-\mu}{\frac{\sigma}{\sqrt{n}}}\\Z=\frac{52-45}{\frac{6}{\sqrt{25}}}

Z=5.83

P(Z<52)=0.9999974

P(Z\geq 52)=1-P(z

Hence  the probability of observing a sample mean of x = 52 or greater from a sample size of 25 is 0.0000026

hram777 [196]

Answer:

4.25x ≤ 50

Number of drink = 11

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Amount of gift card = $50

Each drink cost = $4.25

Find:

Number of drink

Computation:

Assume;

Number of drink = x

So,

4.25x ≤ 50

x ≤ 11.76

so,

Number of drink = 11

Given that angle a = 72° and angle b = 37°, work out x.
Sedbober [7]

Answer:

x is 71

Step-by-step explanation:

X + 72 + 37 = 180 ( Sum of angles in a triangle)

X = 180 - 72 - 37

X = 71
